ABOUT THE PROGRAM

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A PART OF COMMUNITY WATCH?

Community Watch shares information to increase safety for organizations, residents and the entire community. The goal of the Glendale Community Watch program is to foster a safer community, for everyone.

Three ways to participate:

Register your location

Registration is simple: submit information including building and camera locations, contacts and security documentation for responders to access in case of emergency.

Share real-time video

Enable public safety to access live streams from your security cameras in order to solve crime faster. You decide how - and when - your camera feeds are able to be accessed.

Detect events early

License plate detection enables faster incident response through early detection of possible offenders at your location.

DECREASE CRIME AT YOUR LOCATION

The Community Watch program works to both prevent crime and solve crime faster through community partnership with public safety.

ENHANCE RESPONSE IN CASE OF AN EMERGENCY

Enable first responders, police and other public safety personnel to enhance their emergency response when you register your information, such as emergency contacts, floor plans and other critical emergency response documentation.

PREVENT CRIMINAL ACTIVITY

By connecting cameras through the program, you are enabling Glendale Public Safety personnel to improve efficiency and respond faster in real time to incidents at or near your location.
